| The Knickerbacker Ice Arena serves as the home of the Troy Eagles Junior Hockey Club. The
“Knick” is Troy's only year around ice skating facility and is located in North Troy off of 103rd
St. It has been the home ice of the organization since its inaugural year in 2004, and continues
to be a more than adequate facility for the Eagles needs both on and off the ice. During Eagles
Training Camp, the running oval and adjacent hills have served the Eagles Coaching Staff well for
Dryland purposes. |

The “Eagles Nest” is also located at the “Knick”, and is the name for the
spacious locker room that serves as a home away from home for Eagles players. The Troy Eagles
locker room was completed just prior to the inaugural 2004 season.

“Nest” comes fully equipped with 26 player stalls, full stick rack, Big Screen TV, Stereo,
Massage Table, Hot/Cold Tub and adjacent Weight Room.
Knickerbacker Arena is a fully enclosed ice skating facility with locker rooms and showers
available to all visiting teams. For spectators, there are rest room and seating accommodations
for 2,100. Parking is more than ample and is available for all games just outside the arena, as
well as a children’s park located adjacent to the entrance to the arena.
The Knickerbacker Ice Arena was built in 1990. The actual park has been around since the late
1920s for uses such as baseball, soccer, track, and more. Since its construction, the arena has
been home to many junior and pro level hockey clubs.
