#7 Center - Kevin O’Connell - 39gm – 7g – 12a – 19pts |
O’Connell was the Eagles center on the top unit throughout the season, and played on both special teams
units as well. At the mid-season All-Star Game, Kevin notched an assist as the lone representative for the
Eagles this past season as well. Not measured by points alone, Kevin’s speed and puck control was crucial to
the Eagles throughout the season as one of the few assets they had to keep opponents off balance. “OC” was
often the target of double teaming and fought through, drawing opponents away and dishing to teammates,
attributing to his 12 assists this season. Kevin will be making the jump to the collegiate level next season
and join the ranks of Eagles Alumni playing College hockey.

#16 Defenseman – Scott Brennan – 37gm – 2g – 4a – 6pts |
Brennan began the season as an unproven, rookie defenseman. By season’s end however, he would be
an Assistant Captain, a dependable physical presence in his own end, and a power play pointmen at
the other end. Brennan appeared in 37 games this season putting up 2 goals and 4 assists, and at
times, playing through being banged up. Scott’s work ethic at practice paid off as his growth and
confidence began to accelerate as the season wore on. Brennan will be returning to the Eagles for
the 2008-09 Season and now must take his turn to lend veteran leadership to the incoming Eagles
players.

#21 Wing – Gary Marshall – 41gm – 4g – 6a – 10pts |
Marshall was solid all season long for the Eagles in his rookie campaign, mostly due to his great work ethic.
Gary, who attended Cohoes High School as a junior this year, was one of the youngest members of the Eagles
squad this season but he didn’t let that stop him from being a leader. Marshall first drew the Eagles
attention as a free agent at a prospects camp with his forechecking and workrate. Gary didn’t disappoint this
season as he was often at the front of the pack during team conditioning or testing, and was a consistent
pest to opponents all season long. Gary will be returning to the Eagles next season and for his senior year
at Cohoes High School.

#27 Defenseman – Alex Novak – 23gm – 0g – 0a – 0pts – 2pims |
Novak was another Eagle who entered into his rookie campaign with the Eagles this past season. While playing
a feisty, physical brand of hockey, Novak played it honest and clean. Rarely taking a shift off or allowing
his opponent to, Alex was noted for his spirited play and excelled when keeping it simple. Always playing
with a smile on his face, Novak will be returning for his senior year at Cohoes High School and manning the
point for the Eagles.
